what is church membership?

Jesus Christ is the Head of his church, and the church is his body (Ephesians 5:23). It is because of this indissoluble union that all Christians are to be joined to a local church. Church membership simply means that we are God's people and we belong to him. The Christian life is not meant to be lived out on an island, we were made for community.

How can I become a member?

The best way to become a member is by regularly attending our Sunday morning service each week. After a few weeks of getting to know the congregation, sitting under the preaching, and talking to the pastors and elders, you should have a pretty good idea of what we are all about: Christ and him crucified (1 Cor. 2:2).

the process

1. Speak to one of the pastors about joining our church family.

2. Meet with the pastors for lunch to talk through what this means and we'll answer any of your questions about the church.

3. Meet with the elders briefly.

4. Make your membership vows in front of the congregation!
